Portsmouth RI Little League requires all coaches to complete essential training to ensure a safe and positive experience for players. As part of Little League’s commitment to education, coaches must take the Abuse Awareness Training Course and the Diamond Leader Training Program before managing or coaching in games or tournaments. These courses equip volunteers with the knowledge to foster a supportive environment while prioritizing player safety. Additional training is encouraged to enhance coaching skills.
